Getting There
El Hierro Airport is in the municipality of Valverde, the capital of the island. There is an airport access road that goes off the TF-911 road (between Valverde and Puerto de la Estaca). After a roundabout, take the road leading to the car park opposite the passenger terminal.

La Palma Airport is eight kilometres out of the capital of the island, Santa Cruz de La Palma, in the municipality of Villa de Mazo.

The airport is in Santa Cruz, on the east coast of the island, 16 kilometres out of the city of Funchal.

The journey from the airport to the centre of Funchal takes approximately 20 minutes on the motorway. The best way to get to your hotel is to take a taxi, although you can also use public transport or hire a car.
