The company sponsors a Canary Islands participant in the Barcelona-Dakar

The Paris-Dakar challenge returns during the first 16 days of the month of January, with the difference that this year the race starts in Barcelona and has a somewhat reduced, although more complex, itinerary. Binter Canarias Sponsors one of the three Canary participating teams, the one made up by Alejandro Roque and Jesús Navarro, from Gran Canaria. The challenge is divided into 16 legs of around 600 kilometres each; the participants have to cover a total of 8,956 kilometres to reach the finishing line, the Rose Lake in Dakar, crossing Spain, Morocco, Mauritania, Mali and Senegal. This year, participation has been higher than in previous editions with 695 teams competing to win the most difficult road race in the world.
