Los Sabandeños

More than 50 years promoting the islands´ musical tradition

Los Sabandeños is one of the most famous and important folk groups of the Canary Islands. A band that has been promoting and maintaining the islands´ musical folklore and its influences since 1965.

Formed in the university environment of La Laguna, Tenerife, today their more than 95 recordings attest to this work and the importance of their legacy. Throughout these more than 50 years, they have built up a valuable sound archive that includes everything from traditional music to their own songs and adapted versions.

Los Sabandeños continue to be a symbol of our cultural heritage, which is why we at Binter are proud to be able to collaborate so that they can continue to maintain their position in the same place, serving as a reference and inspiration for other groups born to recover our musical traditions.
