Community Orchestra Of Gran Canaria

For many people, a concert by the Orquesta Comunitaria de Gran Canaria is the first in their life. This group was created with the aim of spreading symphonic music in the Canary Islands from the grassroots up, bringing it closer to all sections of the population, especially those who are the most vulnerable and who have the least access to the personal development that culture offers.

The access to musical education and social cohesion that the project seeks to promote is precisely what we want to foster by collaborating with this orchestra, which is the only amateur or vocational orchestra in the Canary Islands and one of the few in Spain.
