Binter joins CaixaBank´s child vaccination alliance

GAVI is CaixaBank´s vaccination programme, set up in 2000 as a public-private partnership whose mission is to save children´s lives and protect the health of the population in the poorest countries. Since 2008, the «la Caixa» Foundation has been promoting the Child Vaccination Alliance in Spain with the aim of offering Spanish society the opportunity to collaborate with GAVI in its fight against infant mortality.

It is estimated that in the world´s poorest countries 5.2 million children under the age of five died in 2019 from preventable and treatable causes. At Binter we are collaborating with this initiative to try to reduce this figure as much as possible, facilitating the vaccination of children both in African countries and in the Canary Islands.
