Dive in its forests

Hiking enthusiasts have kilometres of tracks, some of them running through the Garajonay National Park, with a forestry area unique in the Canary Islands.

Another natural spectacular can be found on the north coast: Los Órganos, basalt columns caused by the slow cooling of lava. Given the landscape, the ancient inhabitants of the island used whistling to communicate from one valley to another, for example. Today, the Gomero whistle is UNESCO World Heritage.

It is essential to try the palm tree honey and almagrote, two of the products most purchased by our passengers before leaving La Gomera. The Isla Colombina airport is located in the town of Alajeró, 34 km from San Sebastián de La Gomera.
