La Gomera is a destination where nature and tradition are preserved in their purest state. Its deep ravines, lush forests, and viewpoints with views of the Atlantic turn the island into a paradise for those looking to disconnect and explore unique landscapes.

The heart of the island is occupied by Garajonay National Park, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, while the silbo gomero, an ancient whistled language, remains one of its greatest cultural symbols. Its gastronomy also conquers visitors, with specialties such as almogrote, palm honey, or watercress stew (potaje de berros).

La Gomera Airport, located in the municipality of Alajeró, is situated about 34 kilometers from San Sebastián de La Gomera, the island's capital.

Garajonay National Park: with almost a million visitors each year, this is the third most visited park on the islands. With perfect walking trails and spectacular views, it is ideal for all ages.

Agulo: the island's "bonbon" village. Situated on an immense viewpoint, it is surrounded by the green of crops. It is full of cobbled streets and fairy-tale houses that have been restored.

Los Órganos cliff: a natural monument that reminds us of the organs we can see in a cathedral, hence its name.

Los Roques viewpoint: known as the "rock guardians", these five blocks formed by magma rise above San Sebastián and protect the entrance to the Garajonay National Park.

Santa Catalina beach: this beach is the mouth of the Hermigua valley. Known for its coves and black sand, this beach is a marvel to behold and one of the main options for visitors who enjoy outdoor and water activities such as kayaking and surfing.

Gran Rey valley: located in a spectacular ravine that leads to beautiful black sand beaches, this place has become one of the main tourist enclaves of the island. The beauty of its green landscapes full of palm trees contrasts with the small white houses of the municipality.

Watercress stew: served in dishes made of sabina or holly wood, a unique culinary curiosity.

Cheese: made from raw goat's milk or a mixture of goat's and sheep's milk. Its importance in Gomeran cuisine is reflected in the fact that it is the main ingredient of other products such as curd cakes or almogrote.

Tortas de cuajada: this cake is considered a delicacy by the locals and visitors. It is made with beaten egg, crumbled white cheese from the island, flour and matalahuva.

Gomeran sweets: among the most famous are the torta de bilana, morones, biscuits and rosquetes de vichi.

Palm honey: the queen of Gomeran cuisine and is the result of cooking the sap of the palm tree until it is caramelised. It is ideal for confectionery and as an ingredient for various recipes.

Wine: grape cultivation is very constant on La Gomera, which means that one of the island's biggest businesses is wine, which has obtained the designation of origin "Vinos de la Gomera". Its white wines are outstanding.

This is the second smallest island in the archipelago. It is located in the province of Santa Cruz. On this island we find one of the four national parks located in the Canary Islands, the Garajonay National Park. The island was declared a Biosphere Reserve in 2012 with a category of excellence for its marine and terrestrial ecosystem.

The island has a total of 600 kilometres of trails with lush forests with springs and valleys of green palm trees which contrast with the fascinating black sand beaches.

One of the peculiarities of La Gomera is the aboriginal language of the Gomero Whistle, which, as well as being taught in schools, is a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
