Zaragoza: A City with a Thousand Stories

The Basilica of Our Lady of the Pillar (La Basílica del Pilar): The grand symbol of Zaragoza and one of Aragon's most recognizable monuments. The Stone Bridge (El Puente de Piedra): One of the most iconic spots to contemplate the Ebro River and the skyline of Zaragoza. The bridge connects the Historic Center with the Arrabal neighborhood and offers magnificent views of the Basilica del Pilar, especially at sunset.

El Tubo: A network of narrow streets in the heart of the historic center that concentrates a good part of Zaragoza's gastronomic tradition. It is one of the essential places to go out for tapas, try various specialties, and soak in the lively atmosphere of the city.

Ternasco de Aragón: One of the true stars of Aragonese cuisine. This young milk-fed lamb meat is prepared in various ways, though oven-roasted is one of the most traditional. It is an essential dish for discovering the region's culinary heritage.

Borage (Borrajas): Highly tied to Aragon, this vegetable forms part of some of the area's most traditional recipes. It can be prepared in various ways and serves as a fine example of the importance of fresh market produce in Aragonese gastronomy.

Aragonese Migas (Migas aragonesas): A traditional dish made from crumbled bread sautéed with various ingredients. It is a simple and hearty recipe that forms part of Aragon's traditional cuisine.

Huevos al salmorejo: A traditional Aragonese recipe that pairs eggs with a savory sauce made from various ingredients, offering a simple yet flavor-packed dish.

Frutas de Aragón: One of Aragonese gastronomy's most characteristic sweet treats. They consist of candied fruits covered in dark chocolate—a perfect edible bite to take home as a souvenir of the trip.

Trenza de Almudévar: A traditional sweet pastry from Aragon made with a braided puff pastry dough filled with nuts, raisins, and other ingredients. It is one of the region's best-known delicacies and a perfect accompaniment to a cup of coffee.
